Algonquin College Interactive Media Management One-Year Post-Graduate Studies Program - Your Career. Advanced!
Students in this one-year program acquire the hands-on skills to plan and develop websites, online media and dynamic content, while learning industry-standard practices to meet the needs of today’s market. Students will also experience the complete design and development process life-cycle of a media rich product, which includes sketches, mind maps, wireframes, prototypes, testing phases, meetings, roll-out and social marketing. All courses follow a hands-on approach to learning and emphasize individual skills while giving special importance to teamwork.
Topics include: digital graphics, web design, interface architecture, server-side development, project management, motion graphics, dslr photography, video composition, content management system (CMS), social media and Flash animation. Languages taught include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML and PHP.
